Malisa’s journey began on a quiet balcony in Ubon Ratchathani, a town in the heart of Thailand known for its slow mornings, fragrant herbs, and deep respect for nature. With a handful of pots and a few hopeful seeds, she began planting leafy greens, soft ferns, and kitchen herbs like sweet basil, lemongrass, and chili—little pieces of home that reminded her of her grandmother’s garden and the meals that followed.
As the plants grew, so did her sense of purpose. Each leaf became part of her daily ritual—adding fresh herbs to her Tom Yum, simmering green curry with homegrown basil, or preparing a warm herbal foot soak using mint and kaffir lime, following centuries-old Thai remedies. These weren’t just plants. They were nourishment, memory, and healing.
